PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicating instrument which has a simplified structure of a rotator provided with a pointer. SOLUTION: The indicating instrument is provided with a display 8 for displaying prescribed information, an index plate 9 having an index part arranged in the front-side periphery of the display 8, the pointer 14 to be moved along the index part, the rotator 12 provided with the pointer 14; a plurality of supporting members 13 for supporting the rotator 12, and a drive unit 16 for moving the rotator 12. The rotator 12 restricts the movements of the rotator 12 in planar directions and vertical-plane directions by a protrusion part 23 at the same location as the supporting members 13.
