PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum heat exchanger coated with a resin material whose coating is prevented from being damaged without increasing man-hours. SOLUTION: The aluminum heat exchanger comprises a core plate 111 which has a plurality of tube holes 111a formed in punched-out portions 111b punched out in the inner face of a tank 120 corresponding to the tube holes 111a. Tubes 112 are inserted at its longitudinal ends into the punched-out portions 111b so that an inner peripheral face 111c of each tube hole 111a is flush with an inner face 112a of each tube 112. A coating of an ion elution preventing resin material 140 is applied to the inner face of the core plate 111 and the inner faces 112a of the tubes 112 and the coating of the resin material 140 is integrally applied between the inner peripheral face 111c of each tube hole 111a and the inner face 112a of each tube 112.
