PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasoline reduced in the emission of toxic components due to exhaust gas, capable of further improving driving performances including automobile acceleration, and also capable of securing high driving performances even in case gasoline base materials become heavier by removing benzene fractions in the gasoline over a wide boiling point range. SOLUTION: The gasoline has a research octane number of 85 or greater but less than 96, a sulfur content of≤10 mass ppm, an aromatics content of≤45 vol.%, an olefin content of 10-35 vol.%, a benzene content of≤1 vol. and a 7C isoparaffin content of≥3.0 vol.%.
