PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in retrieval from a set of data containing a plurality of attributes that the retrieval requires complicated and difficult operations because optimum retrieval method is differed from each attribute, and a series of operation for data retrieval is a large burden for users not high in computer operation skill. SOLUTION: A retrieval key is selected from each of data displayed on a screen and divided based on attributes, a retrieval expression is formed from the retrieval key and a logic computing element, a database is retrieved by a retrieval method corresponding to the retrieval key, and results obtained by a plurality of retrieval methods are outputted based on the retrieval expression.
