PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door device having the function of a shutter, the sun shading function having ventilation performance and day lighting performance, the function of a window screen, the privacy protective function and the crime preventive function, and easy in installation without damaging an outer wall of a building. SOLUTION: This folding door device is constituted so that a sun shading window screen A is composed of an installing frame BW installed as a locking means on a window screen stile BK of a building opening part B such as a window, upper, lower, left and right guide parts B1, B2, B3L and B3R installed in this installing frame BW, and respective door 1, door 8, door 1A and door 8A slidingly installed between the upper-lower guide parts B1 and B2; and respective two sets of a plurality of slats 2 are openably-closably arranged in the respective door 1, door 8, door 1A and door 8A.
