PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for recovering a function of a deteriorated concrete waterway, which can prevent the performance of more excessive repair work than necessary. SOLUTION: The repair work for recovering the function of the deteriorated concrete waterway is performed according to the order of a present condition checking step, a target waterway function setting step, a deterioration stage screening step, a classification step and a section repairing step. In the target waterway function setting step, a waterway function as a target, which is to be recovered by repairing the deteriorated concrete waterway, is set. This waterway function as the target can prevent the performance of the more excessive repair work than necessary by making a setting so that at least the water passing amount, durable period and maintenance expenses of the waterway can be set to be equal to the initial water passing amount, durable period and maintenance expenses of the deteriorated concrete waterway, or so that the maintenance expenses of the waterway is set to be equal to/lower than the maintenance expenses of the deteriorated concrete waterway.
