A cable clamp device for use in a well bore to secure cables (1) to pipes (2) and the like includes a flexible fastening member (4) of relatively uniform cross-section, and a block (3) that accepts the fastening member (4) as it encompasses the circumference of the pipe (2) in a loop. The cable clamp also and accepts the cable (1) running axially along the pipe (2). The flexible fastening member (4) overlaps itself, and is secured in a loop by deformation of its material. The height of the block (3) from the surface of the pipe (2) is greater than the height of the outer surface of the flexible fastening member (4) and the surface of the pipe (2). The end surfaces of the clamp are angled with respect to the perpendicular of the pipe's (2) surface. |
