<p>Water detecting sensor has an optical fiber (2) whose surface is made of a transparent material. An optical refraction angle of light beam on a surface on of the optical fiber is changed depending upon whether the surface of the optical fiber is covered by air or liquid. The optical fiber has a massive round bar, which is supported on an outer end in a wall of a water seepage chamber (1). The optical fiber is bent to form a u-shape.</p>
