The outside cat's spiral staircase has all wooden parts boiler pressure impregnated in the colors green or brown. All the metal parts are galvanized. Where there is a requirement for sound protection rubber is used. Two different foot sections can be used, one for an unsealed foundation and one for a sealed foundation. The structural height of the spiral staircase can extend over two floors of a multi-story building. The stem on account of statics and longevity consist of pine wood.
