<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driver circuit capable of informing the stop of a specific DC-DC converter caused by a protective circuit, and also capable of executing the return processing of the converter. <P>SOLUTION: The motor driver circuit 100 is provided with drive circuits 101-104 for driving a motor, a plurality of the DC-DC converters 109-111, and the protective circuit 116 for stopping the converters when abnormalities are detected in outputs of the DC-DC converters. When the converter 111 is stopped by the protective circuit 116, a signal output means 1171 informs a CPU 120 of the stop after making a signal MD_OUT low.
