<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope for measurement which images a measuring object, reads the image as an original image and performs measurement on the basis of the position of a measuring point on the read original image, and, specially performs high-accuracy measurement by easily designating the measuring point. <P>SOLUTION: In an endoscope apparatus for measurement, for example, magnified image generation processing is performed on an original image resulting from imaging the measuring object. When designating a measuring point, the pixel interval of the original image is designated for large movement, the pixel interval of the original image is designated in more details for detailed movement, and the measuring point is efficiently designated. Furthermore, above setting is switched to more easily designate the measuring point. When the measuring point is separated, for example, a designated point is made closer to the measuring point with a moving amount as a pixel interval, the unit of the moving amount is then switched to detailed setting more than the pixel interval, and the designated point is accurately made close to the measuring point, so that a user easily designates the measuring point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
