<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic oligomer having curability and printability (a range of water volume supplied in printing) similar or superior to those of ditrimethylolpropane tetraacrylate, etc., and capable of being given at a low cost, and to provide an active energy radiation curing composition given by using the oligomer and capable of being cured by being irradiated with ultraviolet radiation, electron radiation, etc. <P>SOLUTION: This fatty acid-modified acrylic oligomer (E) is obtained by subjecting a polymer (A) of acrylic acid in an amount of (a) mol, a polyol (B) in an amount of 2(b) mol, a 3-20C fatty acid (C) in an amount of (c) mol, and a polybasic acid (D) in an amount of (d) mol to esterification reaction, wherein the polymer (A) is expresses by formula 1: (a)CH<SB>2</SB>=CH-COO(CH<SB>2</SB>CH<SB>2</SB>COO)<SB>n</SB>-H (n is 0 or an integer and an average value of n is 0.1 to 3) and mol numbers of (a), (b), (c), and (d) satisfy formula 2: 0.9≤[(a)+(c)+(y)(d)]/2(x)(b)≤1.5 [(x) is a number of hydroxy functional groups of the polyol (B); (y) is a number of carboxy functional groups of the polybasic acid (D); and (a) and (c) satisfy: 0.1≤(c)≤1 and 0.05≤(c)/(a)≤0.5, when (b) is 1]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
