PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic system for a vibration control device for acquiring an output signal from a vibration detecting sensor of the vibration control device to diagnose the propriety of normal vibration detection on the basis of the output signal. SOLUTION: The output signal from the vibration detecting sensor 62 is acquired by a CPU 60 in a vibration control part 19 of a control part for the vibration control device built or attached outward in/to a lens 10, an the signal is transmitted to a CPU 50 of a personal computer 16 via a CPU 20 of the lens 10. The CPU 50 of the personal computer 16 diagnoses the propriety of normal drift by the output signal from the vibration detecting sensor under the condition where the lens 10 is stationary, an indication to an operator is issued to vibrate laterally and vertically the lens 10, and the propriety of a normal attaching direction or the like for the vibration detecting sensor 62 is diagnosed on the basis of the output signal from the vibration detecting sensor 62 at that time.
