PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature to its distal end without enlarging the diameter of an endoscope. SOLUTION: The endoscope is provided with a temperature sensor detecting the temperature near the distal end, a temperature data superimposing means superimposing the detected temperature data on an output signal outputted by a solid-state image sensing device, and a temperature data acquiring means acquiring the temperature data based on the signal after the superimposition.
