PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary type outlet wherein the inserting directions of a plug can be covered over its entire hemispherical surface. SOLUTION: This rotary type outlet is equipped with a housing in which a power supply cord is disposed and fixed, a rotary outlet body rotatably fitted in the housing while having the terminal receptacle of the plug, a circular base member formed in the housing, which is electrically connected with the terminal receptacle of the rotary outlet body, a contact member mounted to the tip of each terminal receptacle of the outlet body, which is brought into sliding contact with the circular base member, a rotation guide to regulate the rotation of the rotary outlet formed in the housing, and an rotation guide engagement part to get engaged with the rotation guide formed in the outlet body, in order to form a rolling mechanism.
