PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus for carrying out the sampling of data by imaging a subject at a prescribed pixel intervals to make its original image, and conducting the measurement by assigning feature points on the original image, which is capable of easily assigning the positions of those feature points in a short time in particular. SOLUTION: This endoscope apparatus for measurement is designed to efficiently perform the assignment of points to be measured in performing image enlargement processing on the original image obtained from pickup images of a subject to be measured. When it assigns the measurement points on the enlarged image, it uses the same pixel interval as that of the original image when the distance between the measurement points is far away, while it uses a shorter pixel interval when it is close to make a more accurate and delicate movement.
