<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized apparatus capable of deodorizing/sterilizing polluted air and providing light in favorite color and favorite scent by itself. <P>SOLUTION: The air deodorizing/sterilizing apparatus has an ultraviolet lamp 4 disposed in a passage for air taken in from an intake 1 and a photocatalyst storage container 5 structured so that both ultraviolet rays and air pass around the ultraviolet lamp 4. In addition, photocatalysts 7 are three-dimensionally disposed in the photocatalyst storage container 5, so that taken air is discharged in the circumferential direction while making contact with the photocatalysts 7. The air deodorizing/sterilizing apparatus also has a transparent barrel 9, to which fluorescent material is applied, on the outside of the photocatalyst storage container 5, and an evaporation tray 11 with vents 12 for evaporating essential oil by the current of purified air on the top of the apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
