PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that since fingerprint collation and temperature measurement are always necessary to communicate with an IC reader, the original convenience of a non-contact IC card may be spoiled.
SOLUTION: A data memory area in the non-contact IC card is virtually divided and allowed to reside. One memory area can be accessed from an external IC card reader through a control circuit built in the non-contact IC card. The other memory area is provided with a switching circuit inhibiting data communication until temperature reaches a certain temperature level so that data communication cannot be performed without IC card owner's will even when the IC card reader exists. Consequently the non-contact IC card can be provided with both of the original function capable of freely performing data communication with the IC card reader and the prevention of leakage of important information by performing data communication in a state followed by the IC card owner's will, i.e. temperature detection.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
