PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire air pressure alarm system, capable of preventing phenomenon of determination error to issue an alarm that the system is not normally actuated on the receiver side after a transmitter is started from a transmission stopped state. SOLUTION: This tire air pressure alarm system comprises tire air pressure sensors A, B, C, and D, respectively installed on a plurality of tires 1, 2, 3, and 4, and having the transmitter to transmit data including detected tire air pressure at a prescribed time interval, and tuners (1), (2), (3), and (4) with an antenna installed on the vehicle side to receive radio signals from the tire air pressure sensors A, B, C, and D. A continuous transmission means is provided, so that as reduction of tire air pressure by a prescribed value or more within prescribed time is determined, continuous transmission of transmitting data at a shorter time interval than the prescribed time interval is started by the transmitters of the tire air pressure sensor A, B, C, and D, and that as a receivable state of the tuners (1), (2), (3), and (4) with an antenna is recognized, the continuous transmission is ended.
