PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generator that effectively eliminates static electricity, achieves improved operation efficiency of the ion generator, and causes no operational interference with other electrical and electronic components. SOLUTION: A grounding wire is led out of an oscillation high-voltage circuit inside the ion generator and grounded on a metal piece mutually connected with applied electrical equipment. Upon grounding the grounding wire on the metal piece, a discharge high voltage of the ion generator and the metal piece form a magnetic field circuit.
