PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for securing the speed-up of a transaction log process and the safety of data in an electronic computer (herein after called as a computer) where database software operates. SOLUTION: The device for securing the speed-up of the transaction log process and the safety of the data is structured for communicating with a computer body. (1) A semiconductor storage device houses a transaction log for housing a writing process content temporarily in a database engine. (2) A special central processing unit executes the database engine and so on. (3) An auxiliary storage device houses actual data. (4) An auxiliary power device supplies power to the entire device, and a power management charges the auxiliary power device and manages a life of the auxiliary power device.
