PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant protection ECU and an occupant protection system with the less channel number, simple structure and wiring and low manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The occupant protection ECU 2 is provided with a first high potential side switching element 21; a second low potential side switching element 22 connected to the first high potential side switching element 21 in series; a first external terminal 23 branched/connected between the first high potential side switching element 21 and the second low potential side switching element 22; a second high potential side switching element 24 connected to the first high potential side switching element 21 in parallel; a first low potential side switching element 25 connected to the second high potential side switching element 24 in series; and a second external terminal 26 branched/connected between the second high potential side switching element 24 and the first low potential side switching element 25.
