A the coupling comprises a synchroniser sleeve which is movably guided along a carrier body (14) fixed to the shaft (12). An adjacent drive element has coupling cogging (16), with intermediate synchroniser ring (20,22) with locking cogging (24,26) and synchromesh cone (42 co-operating with a counter cone (46) on the drive member or on the synchroniser sleeve. Sprung elements (48,50) press the synchroniser ring or its synchromesh cone away from the counter cone with a force which is less than the shift force of the synchroniser movement. The sprung elements consist of at least two pins pretensioned by springs and inserted into the element (28,30) supporting the counter cone. |
