<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamper for forming an optical recording disk substrate by which an optical recording disk can have satisfactory recording quality on the entire surface of the optical recording disk by incorporating difference between gradients of projecting parts on inner and outer peripheral sides. <P>SOLUTION: In the stamper for forming the optical recording disk substrate having projecting parts for forming a recording layer on a transparent substrate of the optical recording disk, gradients θ of the side surfaces of the projecting parts 13 are made large from the inner peripheral side toward the outer peripheral side and the gradients θ of the side surfaces on the inner peripheral side and on the outer peripheral side are 40 to 55° and 45 to 60°, respectively. The half value width W3 of the projecting parts 13 is the same size from the inner peripheral side to the outer peripheral side and depths of grooves between the projecting parts 13 or heights of the projecting parts 13 are made large from the inner peripheral side toward the outer peripheral side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
