<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attempt energy saving by stopping waste of power consumption of the refrigerating machine due to overcooling of the rotor while the rotor stops. <P>SOLUTION: In the control of the temperature of the centrifuge, while the rotor stops, the refrigerator is turned on for a certain short time of ≤30 s if the temperature of the revolution chamber is higher than a predetermined temperature to cool the chamber lightly.
