PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic device for determining an analyte, a method of determining the analyte, using the device, and an equipment for determining the presence of the analyte, using the device. SOLUTION: In this diagnostic device provided with a treating chamber having a sample inlet and a window portion, and a flat carrier having a front face faced to the treating chamber, the front face has an active front face containing a diagnostic reagent immobilized to the active front face and an extended front face, and the window portion is provided with a rim portion for sealing the chamber by the carrier via the extended front face while faced to the extended front face.
