PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire profile measuring apparatus capable of precisely measuring the profile of a grounding tire when loaded. SOLUTION: The tire profile measuring apparatus is an apparatus for measuring the profile of a grounding tire T in a loaded state, and is provided with a supporting means 3 for supporting the tire T in a loadable way, a ground substance 1 which the tire T touches, a displacement sensor 5 for measuring a displacement of the profile of the tire T to come in contact with the ground substance 1, and a processing means 7 for finding the profile of the tire T by a signal inputted from the displacement sensor 5. The ground substance 1 has a slit 15 penetrating from its front face 11 for grounding the tire T to the rear face 13, and extending in the transverse direction of the tire T to be grounded. The displacement sensor 5 is movable in the transverse direction of the tire by passing the rear face 13 side of the ground substance 1 while facing the slit 15, and is movable in the radial direction of the tire.
