A disposable wearing article (30A), wherein a skin contact panel (40A) is disposed in the front half portion (32A) of a crotch zone (32), and a liquid impermeable partition (41) is disposed near a lateral centerline (L1). The panel (40A) comprises both side edge parts (48) fixed to both side parts (35) of the article (30A) and an intermediate part (49) positioned between both side edge parts (48). The partition (41) comprises an upper edge part (50) fixed to the panel (40A), a lower edge part fixed to a surface sheet (36), both side edge parts (53) fixed to the both side parts (35), and a center part positioned between the upper edge part (50) and the lower edge part. In the article (30A), the intermediate part (49) of the panel (40A) laterally draws an arc in the upper direction of the surface sheet (36) and the center part of the partition (41) is expanded in the thickness direction of the article (30A) to form a bag-like obstacle stopping the flow of excrement.
