An apparatus for providing bridge-side fine tuning functionality to music al instrument tremolo devices which are not manufactured with this inherent capability. This fine tuning apparatus consists of a replacement tremolo body cavity flange. One side of the flange has a plurality of threaded holes spaced in such a wa y as to match exactly the original tremolo flange string spacing and location relative to the tremolo top. At the bottom end of the tremolo flange, each threaded hole includes an adjustable, rotatable hollow thumbscrew. Each thumb screw cavity is large enough at the lower side to accommodate the ball end of the guitar string, and small enough at the upper end to retain the string ball inside the thumb screw. Turning the thumbscrew either increases or decreases tension along th e string, thereby changing the pitch of the string.
