<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking stick with a position information function greatly convenient for a user weak in the traffic, capable of transmitting position information not to cause a confusion only when the walking stick is used. <P>SOLUTION: This walking stick 1 comprises a stick body 2, human sensors 10a and 11a, a GPS (global positioning satellite) receiver 12a for detecting the position of the stick body 2, a radio device 7a, and a control unit 9a.
