PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece alignment device which is improved in alignment accuracy and simplified in structure. SOLUTION: The workpiece alignment device has a positioning body 2 equipped with a positioning reference wall 1, a pressing body 5 equipped with a pressing wall 4 for pressing a workpiece 3, to be energized toward the positioning reference wall 1, a pressing body control body 7 engaged with the pressing body 5 to hold the pressing body 5 at an initial location against an energizing force, and defining a workpiece holding space 6 on an upper surface thereof in cooperation with the pressing body 5, and a driving section 8 for relatively driving the pressing body 5 and the pressing body control body 7 in an engagement releasing direction. In an engaged state of the pressing body 5, the workpiece 3 which is set in the workpiece holding space 6 is pressed to the positioning reference wall 1 by the released energizing force, to thereby carry out positioning of the workpiece.
