PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize the illuminance distribution of emission light emitted from a light source, by removing the components of stray light. SOLUTION: The light source device includes a light emission chip 2 which emits light by the supply of power via a first electrode and a second electrode 3, and projects the emission light of the light emitting chip 2 towards the front of the light emitting chip 2. The light source device includes a light shielding means 5 for preventing the emission light projected from the side 23 of the light emission chip 2 from being directly projected towards the front.
