PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling capable of transmitting large torque without enlarging a sleeve. SOLUTION: An inside member 1 is installed in one of a driving shaft and a driven shaft, and an outside member 2 is installed in the other. The outside member 2 is arranged in the periphery of the inside member 1 with a clearance. A sleeve 3 formed of a rubber-like elastic body is interposed between the inside member 1 and the outside member 2, while compressing the sleeve 3. The sleeve 3 is brought in pressure-contact with the outer peripheral surface of the inside member 1 and the inner peripheral surface of the outside member 2. Friction force between the sleeve 3 and the inside member 1 and friction force between the sleeve 3 and the outside member 2 is increased.
