PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent polyester fiber having lightness, fiber properties such as strength, etc., without fear of yellowing. SOLUTION: The polyester fiber comprises a polyester A and a polymer B incompatible with the component A, has voids discontinuous in the direction of fiber axis and has≤+5 chromaticity b*and≤1.20 apparent specific gravity of fiber.
