PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock having a very excellent crime prevention effect. SOLUTION: In the lock projecting a cylinder 4 from the front 1a of a door 1, covering the circumferential surface of the cylinder 4 with a cylindrical guard member 11 and, at the same time, covering a cylinder mounting hole 6 formed in the guard member 11 and the door 1 with a collar 7, the guard member 11 is freely rotatable around the axis of the cylinder 4 and, at the same time, the front end section of the guard member 11 has a swelling part 13 formed so that an outside diameter thereof becomes larger with the approach to the front end.
