摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tungsten material for secondary working, even in the case of being fed to a secondary working stage such coiling, having reduced anxiety about the increase of brittleness, even in the case bending, compression, torsion, tensile stress or the like are acted in the secondary working stage, having reduced disconnection and breakage and having excellent durability, and capable of remarkably improving the yield in the secondary working. SOLUTION: In the tungsten material for secondary working essentially consisting of tungsten (W), comprising, by weight, 2 to 27% Re or 0.5 to 5% thorium oxide and added with Al, Si and K as doping agents and worked into a product through a secondary working stage such as coiling, the mean spacing (Sm) of the ruggedness in a roughness curve at the time when 1/3 of the diameter D of the tungsten material is defined as a standard length isΓ(D/5) or higher, and also, the spacing (Ry) between the summit line and the bottom line of the roughness curve is D/50 or lower, and a lubricant layer or an oxide layer essentially consisting of graphite is formed on the surface.
