RADIO BEARER CONTROL METHOD AND RADIO BASE STATION

A radio base station and a radio bearer control method for suppressing a radio link interruption that would otherwise occur due to a disagreement of radio bearer status between a mobile terminal and a radio base station. The radio bearer control method includes a step (602) in which a radio base station transmits a change request signal to a mobile terminal such that a communication condition set in the mobile terminal is changed; a step (604) in which the radio base station changes a communication condition set therein; a step (608) in which the radio base station determines the signal quality of a signal received from the mobile terminal; and step (610) in which if a signal quality that is inferior to a predetermined value lasts longer than a predetermined duration, the radio base station returns the communication condition as changed back to the original one.
