Big Wheel (1) has a body (10) turning around a horizontal main axis (11) , mounted on a support (2). The body has a wheel crown (12) with carrier parts and gondolas (14) turnable on it. It has a lighting system (20) with lighting elements (21) e.g. LEDs, equipped with a control unit (30) to control individual lighting elements. A random generator is able at certain times to select one or more gondolas and light them.
