<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately load a plurality of terminals for a driving element to a connecting terminal for a liquid-crystal display panel. <P>SOLUTION: The driving element 7 is moved at a bonding place, and two sections containing alignment marks 9 for the driving element 7 are image-sensed by image-sensing means 29a and 29b arranged at specified places. The driving element 7 is retracted, the display panel 1 is carried into the bonding place, and two sections containing the alignment marks 6 for the display panel 1 are image-sensed by the image-sensing means 29a and 29b. The places of the alignment marks are detected in the sensed images of the two sections of the driving element 7, and in the sensed images of the two sections of the display panel 1. The place of the display panel 1 is corrected and the computations of the quantity of the two sections displaced are repeated when the computed quantity of the display panel 1 displaced to the driving element 7 exceeds a predetermined allowable value, and the driving element 7 is moved at the bonding place again and bonded with the display panel 1 when the computed quantity of a displacement is kept within the allowable value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
