<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a printer high in useability for a user, and to realize a printing control device. <P>SOLUTION: The printer which carries out printing to a rolled sheet has a setting part for setting the rolled sheet, a printing head for printing to the rolled sheet set in the setting part, a controller for printing information related to at least one of the printer and the rolled sheet to the rolled sheet with the use of the printing head, and a cutting member for cutting the rolled sheet set in the setting part. In the case where the user selects to cut the rolled sheet after printing the information, the controller cuts the rolled sheet by operating the cutting member after the information is printed, thereby cutting off a part printed with the information of the rolled sheet. In the case where the user selects not to cut the rolled sheet after printing the information, cutting of the rolled sheet by the cutting member is not carried out after the information is printed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
