<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of speedily raising the temperature of a fixing roller while enabling another loading section to be driven even in a starting mode. <P>SOLUTION: Power which is power necessary for driving of the other loading section subtracted from specified power is supplied to a fixing heater in the starting mode. Thus the temperature of the fixing roller can be speedily raised while driving the other loading section by carrying out fine control of the power supplied to the fixing heater according to the power for the other driving section to be driven in the starting mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
