<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deterioration of an image due to positional deviation or color shift by controlling an image forming start timing by each transfer sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A line synchronous signal lclre is outputted according to rotation of a polygon mirror by each face of the mirror. A supplied transfer sheet is temporarily stopped according to an operation start signal STTRIG_N gained by detecting a position of the supplied transfer sheet by means of a resist sensor, and then the conveyance of the transfer sheet is restarted according to a writing synchronous operation start signal STOUT_N after a predetermined time period has passed from the next line synchronous signal. After that, transferring of an image signal is requested when a counter counts up a predetermined number of the line synchronous signal, and then an image is formed by controlling a laser diode according to the image signal. As a result, it is possible to coincide an initial point of controlling of a sub-scanning timing with an initial point of conveyance of the paper and to precisely control a sub-scanning position in the forming of the image to the transfer sheet, i.e., a sub-scanning resist position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
