<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a natural fiber material, capable of obtaining lightweight feeling and scarcely forming pilling (fluff ball), compared with a conventional method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the natural fiber material comprises a step for forming a cloth from a mixed spun yarn 3 having a natural fiber 1 and a water-soluble fiber 2, a step for dissolving the water-soluble fiber 2 by carrying out water treatment of the cloth and a step for treating the cloth in which the water-soluble fiber 2 is dissolved with a water-repelling resin. As a result, since spaces are formed in the material and weight of the material is made lightweight, the material has lightweight feeling and since the cloth in which the water-soluble fiber is dissolved is treated with a water-repelling resin, the material scarcely form pilling (fluff ball), compared with a conventional method, while having swelling volume feeling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
