METHOD, SYSTEM, DEVICE, AND PROGRAM FOR COMMUNICATION FLOW CONTROL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, device, and program for communication flow control that perform excellent flow control.

SOLUTION: Frames with priority which are received from a device connected to a communication port are accumulated in respective queues corresponding to priority or a priority group and then a transmission stop indication frame indicating the stop of transmission to the priority or the priority group when the amount of frames accumulated in the queue corresponding to the priority or the priority group exceeds its threshold or a transmission restart indication frame indicating the restart of transmission for a priority or priority group when not is sent to the device connected to the communication port. The device connected to the communication port stops transmitting frames corresponding to the priority or the priority group when receiving the transmission stop indication frame for the priority or the priority group and restarts transmitting frames corresponding to the priority or the priority group when receiving the transmission restart indication frame for the priority or the priority group.
