PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing system capable of realizing a copy function without starting a host device. SOLUTION: The image processor 10 provided between the host device 30 and an image forming device 20 comprises a slave station interface control part 1131 performing a control so as to perform communication by using the host device as a main station and itself as a slave station; a main station interface control part 1132 performing control so as to perform communication by using the image forming device as a slave station and itself as a main station; an image input part 111 reading an image and generating image data; a first data transfer part 11312 transferring the image data to the host device based on the control of the slave station interface control part; a second data transfer part 11321 transferring the image data to the image forming device based on the control of the main station interface control part; and third data transfer parts 11311 and 11321 receiving the image data generated by the host device based on the control of the slave station interface control part and transmitting the received image data to the image forming device based on the control of the main station interface control part.
