PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image dispay method capable of correcting both discharge current variation and light emitting variation of a phosphor, thereby suppressing light emitting unevenness of an image display apparatus. SOLUTION: The image display method for the image display apparatus, which is provided with a plurality of electron discharge elements and a phosphor which emits light by electron emission discharged from the electron discharge elements, comprises: a step in which a phosphor correction value for correcting the light emitting variations of the phosphor is stored; and a step in which a discharge current correction value for correcting discharge current variations is sequentially updated and the image display apparatus is driven based on the phosphor correction value and the discharge current correction value.
