PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required for evaluating an antenna characteristic of an antenna device 10 formed from two antenna elements 11, 12 operated in an approximately same frequency. SOLUTION: A network analyzer supplies a high frequency to the first antenna element 11 of the antenna device 10, and detects a transmission characteristic which is the ratio of transmission of the high frequency to the second antenna element 12. Then, the coupling amount between each antenna is calculated based on the transmission characteristic, and normality/abnormality of the antenna characteristic of each antenna element 11, 12 is determined on the basis of the coupling amount. Hereby, the normality/abnormality of the antenna characteristic of the two antenna elements 11, 12 can be determined by a one-time measuring work. Consequently, the time required for determination can be shortened to about a half time compared with a method for determining the normality/abnormality of the antenna characteristic by measuring respectively a reflection loss characteristic of each antenna element 11, 12.
