The conventional network has a problem that in order to make connection to the Internet and perform remote operation, a central controller and a terminal are required separately, which increases the initial cost. The present invention provides an information processing device including: information acquisition means arranged on an adapter main body and operated by an operation signal from outside for acquiring information such as video; signal transmission/reception means arranged on the adapter main body for transmitting signal of the information acquired by the information acquisition means outside or receiving an operation signal from outside; a control unit for storing protocols and converting various signals so that the operation signal and the information signal can be processed in accordance with various communication methods such as cabled/radio for transmission/reception by the signal transmission/reception means; and a support device for supporting the adapter main body by placing or fixing it. Thus, it is possible to set the position of the information acquisition unit for acquiring information.
