<p>A reactor for (especially thermo-chemical) treatment of bulk goods such as polyesters, polyamides, polycarbonates, foods or fodder comprises a chamber with a goods inlet (4) and outlet (6), the outlet (6) always being above a predetermined minimum height above the deepest part of the chamber and the chamber also having hub or mixing elements (22, 23...) reaching the lowest part of the chamber and thus transporting the goods along the reactor. A reactor for (especially thermo-chemical) treatment of bulk goods such as polyesters, polyamides, polycarbonates, foods or fodder comprises (A) a chamber rotated around an axis (A) by a drive (M) and having an inlet (4) and outlet (6) for the goods, outlet (6) being in a wall (18) of the chamber and being, regardless of the position of the chamber during rotation, always at above a predetermined minimum height above the deepest point in the chamber; and (B) hub or mixing elements (22, 23...) reaching the lowest part of the chamber during their rotation around axis (A) and taking up the goods and moving above the predetermined minimum height where they meet a take-off device which transfers the goods to the outlet (6) such that the goods progress along the reactor between inlet (4) and outlet (6).</p> |
