The object of the present invention is to provide a flexibility of change or upgrade of the communication scheme of a vehicle-mounted network and to lighten the load in processing electrical equipment modules and the like. The present invention leaves the control of the communication scheme of a vehicle-mounted network (71) for connector apparatuses (69) each having a communication control function, thereby allowing electrical equipment modules (63,65,67) to be dedicated to their respective unique processings other than the processings related to the communication scheme. A control program related to the communication scheme is rewritably stored in a rewritable nonvolatile storage device (97) of each connector apparatus (69) having the communication control function. A change or upgrade of the communication scheme can be performed by updating only the control program in the nonvolatile storage device (97) of each connector apparatus (69) having the communication control function.
